I believe amateur radio is one of the greatest hobbies one could get involved with. It has taught me so much and I have made many great friends thru the years.

I have been very active on the radio over the years from my modest station. My main interest has been chasing DX; I have my DXCC for 40, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 Meters in addition to my DX Challenge plaque. Also, I have my VUCC for 6 Meters in addition to my WAS, WAC, USA-CA, WPX and IOTA awards. I have done some contesting, winning at my section (WCF) level.

I am a U.S. Navy veteran and life member of the American Legion.

I am helping my daughter study to become a third generation ham.
